Q: Do you offer 24 hour nursing?

A: We have nursing services 24 hours a day 7 days per week. There are Registered Nurses on duty at all times.

 

Q: What are the visiting hours?

A: Normal visiting hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

 

Q: Do you allow pets?

A: Pets are permitted to visit as long as long as you provide current vet records ensuring their vaccinations are up to date. Pets must be kept on a leash and under control at all times. We believe pets are a valuable resource for our residents and always welcome their visits. The facility has some pets that stay onsite including Dash the cat and small birds can be found singing throughout the facility.

 

Q: Can I bring my own furniture?

A: We do allow residents to bring some of their own furniture, including their own recliner chairs, beds in certain circumstances, and small dressers, tables, etc. We encourage residents to make their room as home-like as possible for their comfort.

 

Q: Can we move in as a couple?

A: Yes, if both parties are appropriate for nursing home care, they may live together in a shared room and enjoy each other’s company.

 

Q: How do I arrange for a visit or tour?

A: Call the facility and ask to speak to the admissions department at 724-437-1400.

 

Q: Do I have to be Catholic to come to this facility?

A: No, we are a non-denominational facility. Anyone of any faith can come to our facility. Anyone who does not identify with any religion is welcome as well.

 

Q: Do I have to be of a certain age to come to this facility?

A: Other than pediatrics (small children) we accept people of any age. Although older adults are our primary clientele, we do provide care for younger adults as well.

 

Q: Am I allowed to leave the facility to go out on visits?

A: Yes, depending on the type of stay you are here for. As long as your physician approves of your leave and there are no conflicts with your insurance company you may go out of the facility. For some short stay individuals who are here for therapy services there are some restrictions with insurances. Our social workers will be glad to help you understand what your insurance will allow.
